"Fantastic place, great accommodation, lovely rooms, nice food and drink. Location could not be better. Staff were wonderful, friendly and chatty. We will be coming back. "Room was spacious, but lacking a couple of items to make the stay easier. Full length mirror would have been ideal, a dresser table with vanity mirror. The towels were somewhat thread bare and as for bath towels, on the small side, but the shower was good, plenty of power. Had to clean out the ceiling extractor fan as it was clogged up with built up dust (it won't work efficiently if blocked up!) A little attention to detail would not go a miss. St Ives "

"Kind and lovely people, lovely chat and they really cared. Very much a spare room in the end of their house with a it’s own bathroom so very homely. Breakfast room was a breakfast room with lots of stuff and a cat (I loved the cat). It’s down a very rough and rocky track in the car. Basically it’s an authentic working farm with some lovely farmers who make a solid breakfast. I’d be back. If you are looking for a polished hotel experience this isn’t for you but for a real life nice people...

"Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....

"The staff were so welcoming and lovely it made the stay so enjoyable. There was an issue with WiFi and the staff couldn't apologise enough. It did not matter to us as we could enjoy the stay without the phones/emails etc. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Will definitely visit again."
