"The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit enjoying the lake. Great location as we visited the shipwreck museum and Mackinac Island. We also spent a day just enjoying the cabin, the lake, and watching movies. We thought we would miss internet but really enjoyed not having it. We wished that there was a bathroom...

"We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, each room had its own space heater.
