"Property is situated in the grounds of Spital House and it very quiet. Cottage is very spacious and was very clean and is well stocked with essential equipment. Liked the small welcome pack also the pint of milk in the fridge. The stables are directly behind the property and the horses where in the field every day. Found it difficult to find as directions from the post code take you to Paxton so better to set google maps for Spital House this takes you almost to the front door of the cottage. Waze will bring you to the driveway of the estate but you might drive past before you realise you have arrived. The cottage is well situated for visiting a lot of historical sites and Paxton is within a 30 min walk. Would love to stay again someday soon"

"Staff are very friendly, and nothing seemed to be a problem! Very accommodating. The food they have to offer was lovely, and reasonably priced! And the room was comfortable. "

"We had a lovely stay, comfortable room and a great view. Alison made us very welcome and was very helpful. Breakfast was served to our liking with a choice of traditional or continental. Good drinks and snacks in the room, that were well received. Bathroom had a great shower, but the space around the sink and toilet was very limited. The sink was tilted and seemed to be precarious and easily dribbled water onto the floor. I think the location is really good and the overall decor is is well considered. Some small door hooks would be helpful on the rear of the main door. Hopefully we will be back soon to enjoy another stay."
