"We arrived late after a full day on the slopes and check-in was a breeze everyone was very nice. We met 2 ladies sitting in the lobby who were still staying there from hurricane Helene. Amazing hospitality and love towards those affected by the storm. Will stay again!"

"The hotel was very luxurious and comfortable. I loved the hot tub and the fact that the tv can swing to face the hot tub. Overall I rate this stay for couples a 10/10. The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the room. There was dust accumulation in the corners and some of the silverware was not clean. In general I would rate it a 9.8/10 it’s a great get away spot for couples. "

"I came to snowboard it’s a beautiful place is big is clean everything you need. I have three boys ranging from 17 to 25 and myself single black girl was happy. I just got home but the mountain itself it’s not too high if you want to drive your car no need for a rental is still in the mountain but everything is close. All the fun things to do is close I was at blowing rock sugar mountain and beach mountain. If you go and skateboard in a snowboarding or even tubing, bring you some warm stuff from home so you don’t have to buy the expensive $30 gloves or $40 shades go food shopping and you can save some money. The kitchen had everything you need. I felt home full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms two couches that had beds. Also, we were comfortable if I ever did this again I would come to Sugar Mountain in the Highlands."

"We rented a three-bedroom suite to go ski in Sugar Moutain before Christmas. This property really surprised us on the location, cleanliness, amenities provided and lovely atmosphere. All of us LOVED this property and cannot wait to go back. First, the location is great, 1.4 miles from the ski resort, 2 miles from downtown Banner Elk, with a lot of dining options around. The suit is really well maintained, with a well equipped kitchen, providing nice cooking utencils, cups, plates, and bowls. The unit has central AC system, making it really nice and quiet. It also has a gaslog fireplace, super nice for winter. All the rooms in the suite are large and mattresses are very comfortable. The community has a activity center, providing games, puzzles and showing movies every night. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the vibe and were really surprised by the amenities provided. We cannot wait to go back next year. Thank you SO MUCH for the well managed property!"

"We loved this cabin! Our church group stayed in this cabin for the weekend while we volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse. Upon check-in, the owner called to welcome us and give a short orientation. He was very attentive to our needs through out the entire weekend. Everyone in my group absolutely loved this cabin. It allowed us to all be together in one setting but have our own individual rooms. I have continued to communicate with the owner since our visit and have become fond friends through communication. I’ve even already booked with them again for next year! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place. We really enjoyed it! "

"The room was clean. The bed was clean. The room was in a modern style. The staff is very courteous and nice. The only complaint I have is that other guests were rude at time by having elongated loud conversations in front of my room. Overall, I had a good experience. It was a good room and a good price."

"We enjoyed everything about the cabin and location. We only had one issue being tall and almost hitting the deer head out to the porch. 🤣 Thanks we all had a great time and the snow ❄️ was beautiful. Definitely will come back! Thanks , The Palmer’s "
