Everything about this property is great, the space is HUGE and stocked for anything you could possibly need. The land is beautiful and the dogs are super friendly. 100% RECCOMEND this place to stay. "My friend and I (40 women) randomly chose Gettysburg and this house got a quick getaway to relax. The location of the house makes it perfect for walking to anywhere in the center of town. The only slight negative to this was the noise. It is a busy road with lots of morning traffic and trucks. Other than that this home was wonderful!is that it was not a quiet street"

"We stayed at this beautiful home in March 2025. The property, location and amenities were wonderful and very comfortable for our family. We were close to York, as well as Hershey Park and enjoyed the area attractions as well as local restaurants. "We had a fabulous weekend celebrating our 40th anniversary at the Shoe House. The house is beautifully decorated with every detail thought of by the hosts. We spent our weekend cooking together, playing games, sitting out by the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub. Sleeping accommodations are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The downstairs family room is where we gathered the most and having a full refrigerator, bar, and coffee station was a huge plus. We had a fabulous memorable time....
