"Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. We booked a day tour of the area with the hotel in the third day, however it was just the three of us so they transfered us to another company they worked with. Despite the reviews about the sound/music from Bank Town, it wasn't a problem and we never used the provided ear plugs. Overall, we had a very relaxing and lovely time at Eclipse del Mar! "

"Loved the setting. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful surroundings. Lots of wildlife. Very comfortable lodgings. But it's not really a resort. It's a collection of villas, condos, and bungalows which are rented out. Still, a very nice place to stay. The staff was tremendous. Friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Restaurant food was good too. Don't miss the spa! "

We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the treehouse where we enjoyed three of our five nights. We spent our final two nights in the overwater villa which was incredible as well. We’ve traveled to many destinations in the past, but have never been met with such kindness and the willingness of the Nayara staff to go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction.
