"This place is a dream. The room was amazing, the shuttle service around the property and the staff was perfect. The beach is gorgeous. We had a private pool that was cold and in the shade most of the time, so we spent more time in the beach club and the ocean. I would caution you that this resort is in the middle of nowhere. Bring cash for tips (no ATMs on the island), and definitely any medications you might need. I got a cold on the plane and there is no pharmacy anywhere nearby…the front desk...

Hotel is NOT located in the main Island, consider the costs of water taxi to move around: 1 usd during the day and 2usd during the night per person. "We are so happy we stayed at Akwaba Lodge. The grounds are well maintained and we had opportunity to walk around and explore.
