"This 3-bedroom house is immaculate! It is the best place we stayed at during our two months in Ireland. There is everything you need for a long or short term stay. Its quiet location is within a few minutes walking distance to shopping, pubs, restaurants and a very doable hike to the Cliffs of Moher, along with many other hikes. We had a slight issue at the house, and Patrick resolved it immediately. He is a great Host. I highly recommend this very relaxing and perfectly located property. ...

He followed up later to make sure we didn’t need anything. He was quick to return our call when we had a question. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. "This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...

"The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works...

"We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"
