This was a nice hotel to stay at while visiting Galway. The staff was very nice, and even surprised us with a bottle of wine and chocolate for our anniversary (very nice touch!).
The room was decent. We had a corner room with views of the water. The only problem was that the windows were so dirty, you couldn’t enjoy the view. The shower drain was always extremely slow to drain, so you were sanding in water at the end of the shower. The rest of the room was fine.
They had a few dining options, a bistro and a restaurant. We had breakfast included, which was a buffet style at the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best, and probably worth skipping unless you get it included.
Again, the staff was very nice and helpful. The location was nice, and away from the busy center of town. However, if you want to be within walking distance of town, I would stay closer.
Again, it was a decent hotel that worked out just fine. I would have given it three stars, but the wine and chocolate sunrise in our room pushed it to four stars.
