"We had rented the apartment and it was very nice, clean and cosy. Fortunately we did not have to cook nor eat onsite because it is really not equipped to do any kind of cooking. Maybe a trashcan in the kitchen could be useful also? Beyond this, the breakfast was nice and staff very friendly. We had just a big issue when checking out where they wanted us to pay 179 EUR for cleaning and other fees... it was 99 80 and I did not understand what it was for. I showed them that we had already paid...

"What an amazing quiet place to stay. The rooms are cute and well designed with comfort. Has a huge pool to relax. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful with freshly served coffee if your choice. Family owned business and very friendly owners, they will help you with anything you need. It was a really nice and relaxing stay after all day of sightseeing and walking. Location is easily reachable from nearby popular towns and cities in puglia "

"Noi ci siamo stati per una notte...rapporto qualità prezzo abbastanza nella norma.Una nota positiva la posizione centralissima quindi non c'è bisogno della della macchina per uscire anche perché il parcheggio è impossibile trovarlo,infatti il proprietario ci ha dato le chiavi di un parcheggio privato situato a circa 5 minuti a piedi.Colazione non proprio tra le migliori"

"We arrived at 11 PM and had to pay an extra €20 for the housekeeper tower us in,despite us informing the owner that we would be late. The shower was lukewarm, there was no toiletries in the bathroom, no welcome pack, no coffee or tea and we did not sleep well as the fridge was noisy all night long. We were hoping to use the bikes that were advertised but there was no one available to help us in the morning. I complain to the owner the next morning about the problems but he was not interested....

"In diesem hübschen Haus mit dem grossen und ruhigen Garten verweilt man gerne. Am Morgen wird man vom sympathischen Gastgeber mit einem hausgemachten Frühstück überrascht. Der Palazzo Muro Leccese ist eine Oase, die man gerne wieder besucht. Übrigens ist auch der Ort Muro Leccese eine Reise wert. "

"En arrivant, le réceptionniste nous dit qu’il n y a aucune réservation à mon nom. J’ai du me justifier en lui prouvant notre réservation. Chambre au Rez près de l’entrée et la route , nous n’avons pas pu dormir de la nuit sans compter les gaz des véhicules qui suffoquaient la chambre. Au matin Enza très aimable nous sert un déjeuner simple.., nous lui disons que nous nous absenterons deux nuits car nous visitons la région… à notre retour en ouvrant la chambre , quelle surprise !!!! "Il posto ha molto potenziale ma è ancora in costruzione, un po’ la proverbiale cattedrale nel deserto. Un’ala della zona alloggi ancora cantiere aperto, la zona isolata ma non nel senso buono, area piscina direttamente prospiciente sulla abitazione privata dei proprietari… Il tutto però bilanciato da proprietari estremamente cordiali e generosi. Siamo state bene, non v’è dubbio, ma avrei preferito un ambiente generale differente. "

Slice of Heaven in Puglia with Sea View and Sea Access

"We and our elderly parents (6 total) had a fantastic stay at this clean, spacious, magazine photoshoot-ready, beautiful villa (with sea access during summer months) in Oct/Nov and enjoyed the use of the wonderful, newly heated pool right up to the last day! Loved the privacy we had during the off season. We were greeted with much appreciated, thoughtful, tasty local snacks, fruit and bottle of wine. Villa is a short 5 minute walk to Aquaviva. The views of the sea and Castro are just spectacular from ground level and the upper terraces. The outdoor space is lovely with grass and garden surrounding the villa. Pictures are very accurate. Every bedroom has a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. A/C and heat worked well. Newly remodeled kitchen is well stocked. Most importantly, Gaia was an excellent host and Felice and Lucia were wonderful property managers. They all were super kind, responsive and very accommodating to requests, which made our stay even more beautiful."

Highly recommend!Just a perfect location if you have a car. The sea views are always interesting.

"Tommasso and Maria are fabulous hosts who go out of their way to help. They came one day with pastries for us and there were refreshments and snacks for us in the refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, kitchen very well equipped! Loved the morning sunrise on the balcony with a visiting cat who greeted us everyday. The only negative was no wifi but Tommasso brought us a modem. And the thirty stairs to get to the unit. It’s not a problem for most but I have mobility issues "

"Lovely hotel and good value off season as limited facilities available. It was great as it was nice and quiet. Beautiful sea views and location. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of disappointments - the balcony had a very high front so when you sat down you couldn’t see the view! The sides were low so very open to neighbours and anyone smoking on their balcony. We had to keep the doors shut at times to keep smoke out of our room.( We were told we couldn’t swap rooms ) Also worth noting that all the balconies were in the shade in the afternoon when we visited in late September. "

Delighting Apartment overlooking the sea

"Absolutely loved our stay in Castro, the apartment was extremely comfortable, clean &typically Italian. We loved sitting outside to enjoy the sea view and ambience of the area. Castro is a beautiful town and located within easy reach of Brindisi or Bari Airports with easy to reach other towns. Lovely restaurants & views. Our hosts were welcoming. Would recommend."

Wish we could have stayed longer!

"The photos don't do this property justice. The terrace and direct sea access were amazing and the whole area was stunning. We had some issues with the wifi but the host was quick to remedy this and the wifi was good up on the terrace. The direct access to the beach was great and being able to easily walk to the nearby cove was a bonus as we didn't always want to drive. We even walked into the town one night for dinner which took around half an hour. The house was spotless and lots of kitchen and cleaning bits left to help with the stay. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this house for a memorable and relaxing holiday with friends or family."
