"This is a stone summer home with the most magnificent patio/deck on the first floor providing a totally unobstructed view of the Messinian Gulf. Sunsets are stunning from this place. Finding a place with a view of the gulf was our priority this visit, and we found it. The home is rustic, and in February when we stayed it was quite cold but that was no problem for us. "The house was exceptionally beautiful and in traditional keeping with the Mani architecture. Extremely quiet and remote with fabulous views. Great exploring and the most important for us was the wild flowers - exceptional in April. The house is very cosy and well equipped and even broadband is available despite it's remoteness. "This was a wonderful experience. The property sits above the town of kiviri. The beach is a downhill walk, so we drove down so as not to walk back uphill. There is parking on site. Sonia is an excellent host with lots of information for you see/do in the area.
