"I’m a pretty simple traveler. I want a clean room and I’m pretty happy with the basics. This place is an older hotel that could use a little TLC but overall it’s a great stay and especially for the price. Front desk at check in was very friendly and to the point— fine for me—I’m tired give me a key and I’ll let you get on with your job. My room was closer to the road and I heard a lot traffic but I’m a heavy sleeper so no problem. They require a $40 CASH deposit at check in and they actually go check your room before you get that back- so don’t be a slob and be respectful of where you’re staying and you’ll have no problem getting your money back. Overall I was pleased and would stay here again. It’s a basic clean and comfortable place to stay. "

"Affordable hotel with nice staff. Comfortable bed and nice location with a good Mexican restaurant next door. Only issue was how limited breakfast options were but beyond that I recommend "

"We had the whole hotel to ourselves so it was really quiet.. The only thing that we didnt like was the breakfast was horrible.."

"We spent a great week at this beautiful home hiking with our teens and dog. Close to Sparta and state parks and very close to Lost Creek nature area. We hope to return. Thanks to Jongee and John for hosting and providing everything we needed to enjoy our trip! "
