"The Dune’s was the perfect spot for our family of 10! The house was spotless and well stocked. Great downstairs gathering space with a 180 degree view of the water and beach. Loved the spacious covered porch! The beach was beautiful and great for both small kids and adults. Swim, kayak, paddle board, shell, and fish to your hearts content. Great location for easy access to all the wonderful things the islands have to offer. Be sure to make dinner reservations with Virginia Parks at the Courtyard at High Tide for dinner and visit the art gallery at the local school. Rhonda, the property manager, is super nice, knowledgeable, and helped make our stay enjoyable. Would not hesitate to come back to this wonderful property!"

"Spanish Wells is a quiet fishing town. If you like long walks on a nearly deserted beach beside crystal clear water colored in beautiful shades of blue, then this is a perfect location. The house is clean and comfortable with everything needed to make yourself at home. Our host, Sherwin, could not have been more friendly and was always responsive to our requests. Next time we visit Spanish Wells, this will be our first choice for accomodations."

"Rest Ashore is a wonderful place. Located in a perfect spot just down the street from the beach. There is a city park at the end of the street, maybe 90 steps from the house. It’s extremely well-appointed and has everything you need for your vacation. We never thought “oh it would be nice to have this or that”..it was all there. Communication was a breeze if we had any questions about the island. Bedrooms were large, and the beds were very comfortable. Both bathrooms were good size and stocked with plenty of towels. They provided beach towels,and beach chairs. Kitchen was a great setup and had all the dishes, pots, pans, basically everything you need for a kitchen. We even used a little cooler provided by the Host when we went to the beach everyday. Wonderful front porch with rockers that we sat in every morning and talked with the residents when they walked by. Nice back porch with plenty of seating and a gas grill if you wanted to cook the catch of the day at home! The home is brand new and was styled really well. Sometimes you get to a place and it’s decorated sort of haphazardly, but not Rest Ashore, it’s so cute with its island inspired theme. Lots of artwork/crafts that were made locally. The addition of the golf cart was a huge bonus and we used it daily to zip around the island. Check in/out was a breeze. I would 100% recommend Rest Ashore to anyone. It was prefect for us, and with king beds in each bedroom would be perfect for two couples traveling together. "

"We were looking for a quiet and relaxed vacation and this place checked all of our boxes. Efficiently run, smooth transition from airport to ferry to golf cart to property. Clean, beautiful property. Great amenities. The view was spectacular. Most of all everyone was so kind and helpful with any questions or needs we had. Would recommend this beautiful spot to anyone and return in a heartbeat! "
