Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. Was definitely somewhere i could return too. The hosts were lovely as well and sorted any small problems we had quickly. All in all would...

"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "
