But were terribly let down: (1) car parking was a problem (2) accommodation was basic with no "Visitors Book" to leave comments (3) beds were uncomfortable (4) cooking utensils were sparse. When we normally rent there is always a bottle of wine, a few biscuits or snacks and other bits and pieces to get started. Never Again."

"My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you"

"Good locations. Check-in and access and communication was all great. Recliner chairs in the lounge were nice (worth noting there’s only four of them so any additional people would have to sit on dining chairs). Our five year old loved the bunk beds! Having the enclosed garden was helpful with two young kids. The place needs a really good clean though. "The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....

Everything was provided for us a home from home! The hot tub was most welcome as the weather this weekend was very not. We would thoroughly recommend Cameo Cottage for us it was perfect. It was a huge cottage for one person but that made it so much better, I could travel between rooms and felt that I had gone on a journey.
