"We stayed for friends wedding. Staff were lovely. Location is so central and the food was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again"

"Hotel is clean and comfortable, there is parking behind the hotel which is included. Rooms are nice, there are better in Kilkenny but you pay the premium for that. Hotel is right in the centre, so can walk to wherever you want to. Had soup and a sandwich in the attached pub/restaurant which was very nice and the bread was exceptionally fresh. The Irish breakfast in the morning was perfectly cooked and as good as I have every had to be honest, and I have had a few in my time. Overall...

"Super friendly staff very welcoming. Really well located. Food was delicious. All covid measures in place so we felt very safe. Would love to come again and would recommend. Thank you Zuni"

"The rooms were old and needed major upgrades. The beds were ancient. The stairs up and down, little hallways, and more stairs, throughout the hotel were like a maze. The bartenders and wait staff were excellent and the location was good. But there are much better choices for the amount we paid."

"The hotel is right in the heart of Kilkenny with all rhe major tourist spots within comfortable walking distance. The rooms are really soacious and very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. I'm very happy to recommend the Pembroke to other visitors."

Great Hotel
