"Our experience was terrible. I messaged the host 2 weeks before our arrival inquiring about reservation status because of the recent hurricane. No response. I messaged the house the night before and the morning of our reservation. No response. I contacted VRBO and they tried to contact the host . No response. On our way to the airport the host messaged me and cancelled our reservation due to no electricity. It would have been different if the host would have told us two weeks ago when I first messaged.. It was awful. Arrived at our destination with no place to stay. Lesson learned. If host doesn't respond call VRBO. "
