Welcome to Zula Siesta South Padre Island TX! Our address is: 112 E Mesquite St, South Padre Island, TX, 78597

Located just a 2-3 minutes walk to the beautiful beach, Zula Siesta can sleep up to 16 people in 4 bedrooms (see full bedroom configuration below) with a private large pool & hot tub in a fenced yard.

The AMAZING Private Pool & Spa can be heated with additional fee (optional):
Pool & Spa heating fee It $50 x days of your stay.
Spa only heating fee is $35 x days of your stay.
Partial stay heating is not possible. Pool & spa heating is of course optional, so you can let us know after you book if you would like to add it and we will send you a separate payment request for it it.

We are pet friendly! Well Behaved pets are welcome with pet fee. The pet fee is $150 for the first 2 pets and an additional $150 for each pet beyond the first 2 (up to 6 pets). Please let us know after you book if you plan to bring any pets and how many, and we will send you a separate payment request for the pet fee.

For a good night sleep we put luxury memory foam mattresses in all beds.

Super High-Speed internet with AC WiFi that even extends into the yard to cover all the playing and remote working needs.

70” smart TV and sound system in the living room and Smart HD TVs in all rooms with all your favorite streaming apps.

Kitchen is equipped to prepare yummy meals. Large island with seating and a large dining table that sits 12.

Washer and Dryer, laundry detergent provided.

Gas grill for great cookouts, propane provided.

Large fenced yard with ample covered space under the house. The fenced area is accessed thru a gate under the house. no direct access from within the house)

Beach chairs, umbrella and beach cart (wagon) provided.

Please note: If the majority of the adults in your group are under 25 we require an additional refundable damage deposit paid separately from your booking of $750. No events or parties allowed.

We are the Weinstein family - AKA Zula Beach Vacation Homes. We love the beach and we love to host so we bought beach houses in our favorite locations (Destin, FL and South Padre Island, TX) and rent them for others to enjoy. We put our hearts into this house to make it beautiful, comfortable and fun for every group any time of the year. The house was perfect for the group that came. It had plenty of utensils too use in the kitchen. We really like the ice maker in the kitchen. But the knives could definitely use some sharpening. The grill out back was nice that it didn’t use propane. But it definitely could use some cleaning. When we tried to cook up burgers it flammed up really bad. But overall it was a great experience. The owners were very receptive to our questions and concerns.

The house was in a very convenient, walkable area, very close to the beach. The house sleeps a lot of people. It could use some updating. Needs drywall repairs in the bathroom and smells a bit musty. Cookware and utensiles are very poor qualilty. It's not a kitchen for someone who actually cooks. There were no casserole dishes, very cheap flimsy or broken cookware - like broken plastic measing cups, torn spatula, poor quality cookware and blender didn't work well. The chairs are all metal or hard plastic, so not comfortable if sitting for long periods like when working remotely. The pool and hot tub were awesome. We paid extra to have them heated while we were there in the winter and definitley worth it. There is no back door to access the back of the house. It would be nice if they could extend the front deck a few feet and add stairs to access the back yard. Since there is no back door you have to walk from the hot tub/pool to the front of the house at the street to go back inside. I love that it was dog friendly. However, it was a bit of a hassle not being able to easily let the dog out into the back yard since there is no back door. A dog must be put on a leash and walked out the front door at the street and around to the backyard. Not a huge deal, but renters with dogs should be aware of this. The owners were excellent. They were extremely responsive. Any issues or questions we had were immediately addressed. House is only1/2 block from the beach. Very safe neighborhood.

Great Location
The house was a perfect winter getaway. The space was clean and had everything (and more) we needed for a great vacation. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful especially on the windy beach days. Great spot and hosts. Our only wish was to stay longer. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

The Zulu House is a must! Amazing House with all the amenities you need. Steps to the beach and Pool and Jacuzzi at home. Very nice open concept with lots of sleeping space. Great place!
We had a great time staying at Zula Siesta! The house is super cute, clean, and very spacious! The pool was clean and worked perfectly, the auto door makes checking in and out a breeze, and the beds are SO comfortable. The place is located pretty central on the island so getting everywhere we wanted to go was easy. The owners were so accommodating and readily available for any questions we had our entire stay. 110% recommend this spot for your stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location to beach, right up street. Great place to dine at The palms, right by boardwalk. The pool area is fantastic and really appreciated the use of beach chairs and wagon for beach. The home is well equipped and perfect location to head north a little and take your car on the beach which is great to get away from crowds! Great communication with owners!

Great Property and Great Communication
This property met the needs of an extended family with grandparents, adult children, a grandchild, and three dogs. It was spacious, clean, and a wonderful place to stay for almost a week. The pool was nice and the beach was close. The owners were very communicative when small issues arose and helped to make our stay a breeze. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect house for our 2 families. There were eight of us with plenty of room for more. The outside pool area was awesome. We held bags tournaments at night, sat in spa and just hung out. Beach is easy walk to the end of the street. I am VERY picky and this house checked all our boxes. We would stay here again

Fantastic Home - Better than Advertised
This home is spacious and comfortable and the owners are super responsive. When they say it is well equipped, it is an understatement. Every kitchen item you will need and enough dishes and glasses for multiple meals. The pool is amazing and complete with toys for kids and adults. The beach chairs and wagon to haul items to the beach was super convenient. We would definitely recommend any of the Zula properties.

Amazing condo!
We're a large group with kiddos under the age of 10. Condo was spacious and we loved the open concept for the kitchen, living & dining room. Plenty of space to all hang out. Pool was wonderful and heated! Backyard patio was really nice to hang out - we even took our group pictures there! It was a short walk to the beach - completely doable. Laundry located in the facility was much appreciated - especially with children. A few issues arose during our stay, but was quickly remedied. We'll definitely stay again for our next vacation!

Excellent stay
Erez and family have a lovely vacation home. It’s 100% updated with tasteful modern features. We liked the decor choices. The home is Spacious with all the amenities that you need to stay. We will definitely re book if available. It is also in a prime location. The pool is gorgeous. Even though there was some work being done, it didn’t interfere with our vacation at all. Overall five stars all the way.
