"Everything was great. Shower had a traditional japanese bath and shower setup with a sink just outside to wash in the morning. Several nearby shops for dinner and breakfast and the Tengachaya station is about 10 minute walk and can get you to the Namba area in maybe 20 mins. There are 4 futon beds and a couch on the first floor. The stairs up are about half my foot size so watch out when walking downstairs, and if you're 6ft also on the way up because i hit my head on the ceiling once haha....

"This place is a hidden gem. It is perfect for one or two travellers as the rooms are small but wide enough. The common space offers everything necessary for a good stay (fridge, water, kitchen, 300 yen washing machine, microwave...). Well located near green line and has a 7Eleven at 50 meters. Two rooms only so the common space is well enough. I highly recommand this accommodation."

"The Ryokan was well maintained and we were pleased with the facilities overall. Two things to keep in mind: 1) the rooms are cleaned once every two days, so don't expect sheets to be changed every day. They do change the towels, at least, but it was never clear to us whether we had to take out our own garbage (we did it because it was still there after two days). 2) hotel staff don't seem to be present. "The staff was really friendly and although most did not speak English very well, they tried their best to help and there wasn't any big issues with communication. The breakfast service was indeed very nice and appetising. The location was convenient: so close to a train station."
