"This is my second stay at the Edgewater in a couple of years. The purpose of my visit was to take photos of the large waves at a local state park in Oregon. Overall, the hotel is good. The room is large and comfortable. I just have a few very minor issues. First, the location is behind a grocery store and not a favorite location. "My boyfriend and I were staying here when there was an earthquake in Northern California and a tsunami warning issued for the coast. The area was evacuated. "We enjoyed our stay at Best Western. Staff especially "Katie" were extremely pleasant and helpful. We should have asked for a blanket before realizing at 2am we needed it but that is on us as it was offered when we checked in. We would stay here again. "Very cute room. Walk straight out to the marina across the street. In old Bandon, so walkable little area close to the state parks. No staff on site, so if you want desk service that is not available. But they are friendly and available by message. If there was an issue they have local people to address like an air bnb. "We were pleased with our stay at The Inn at Old Town. The rooms were very clean and recently refurbished. The shower was hot and powerful, the bed comfortable. Check-in was smooth. No problems. There was some highway noise, but it wasn't bad and for the cost, this place was a great deal. It was nice to be so close to Bandon's downtown. We already booked for our Christmas visit. "
