"We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful house in Kirkwood, NY. The home was incredibly relaxing and fully stocked with everything we needed— from a well-equipped kitchen to plenty of linens and bathroom essentials. The best part? The river was literally our backyard! We loved using the kayaks and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. "The property was not at all as described. From the start, the front door did not open, all other doors had loose handles. Horrific water pressure, the bathroom sink was at a trickle for our whole stay. We had Wifi only for the the first 24 hours and then it went out for the remainder of the trip. The place was dirty with rat poop in a few places. Broken drawers. Clogged showerheads. Holes in the window screens. No instructional binder to give us any information, ie. trash day. "Lots of pros: home was lovely, comfortable and clean. Lots of space for our whole family and the yard was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked (altho probably could use a clean out to get rid of long ago expired items. The only down side was with the showers. The house is advertised as sleeping 14 but you can only use one shower at once as there is not enough water preasure to use both showers at once. This particularly impacted us as we we were all attendimg a mid morning funeral. ...
