"Got nothing but good things to stay about our stay at watermouth lodges. We arrived early and our cabin was ready, such friendly staff on reception and in the bar area. "We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. "The safari tent is large and well constructed. It doesn’t really feel like a tent when you are inside but has all the charm of a safari tent from the outside. The beds a comfortable and the lounge and bathroom are comfortable and clean. The wood burner is great. The veranda in the early morning and late evening is a beautiful place to just sit and relax. The hosts are lovely and welcoming and being woken by braying donkeys is a most pleasant alarm clock I have had. It’s a bit of a drive on...

"At some point these would have been lovely lodges. Location isnt easy to access but the views are lovely. The lodges need an update. Furniture grubby and shabby. The cleanliness of the place is not very good. With a deep clean and some things inproves they would be a lovely place to stay."

"Prima locatie dichtbij Exeter, Torquay en Dartmoor. De huisjes zelf zijn dringend aan een opknapbeurt toe. Onze keuken was vervallen, de apparatuur werkte wel, maar was zo oud dat we niet meer konden zien welke knoppen we moesten indrukken om eea te gebruiken. De douche en bedden waren goed, maar de rest vh meubilair was verouderd en aan vervanging toe. We konden niet op de bank zitten omdat deze doorgezakt was. De vloerbedekking zat vol met vieze vlekken."

"Three generations stayed here and all loved it. My 5 year old grandson was amazed at the “upside down” house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for getting around.
