"I stayed at the hotel with my toddlers overnight. The hotel was 5 minutes from port Everglades which was great. We were also 10 minutes from a Wal-Mart, Fivebelow and a Publix which was great for picking up last minute items needed for our cruise. Hotel was clean. Front desk staff was friendly and assisted me with printing out my luggage tags and cruise documents. The elevators close quickly. While pulling my stroller and luggage out of the elevator the elevator doors closed before my 4 year old stepped out which was terrifying. Thankfully another guest stayed on the elevator with her and the doors opened just as I was about to call the front desk for assistance. "

"We arriving early at 10:30 AM on a Sunday because we had to change our flight to avoid delays due to storms. The staff was slammed with people getting off cruise ships and staying the night to catch a flight the next day or people like us that flew in early and the lobby was packed with people waiting to catch the shuttle to the cruise port. The person at the desk was visibly stressed out but was still very professional and courteous. They took our luggage, gave us the information for the WIFI and recommend Slackers Bar and Grill across the street for meals and to wait. This was a great recommendation. The service, food and atmosphere were very good. The only drawback is that you have to cross a busy intersection without a crosswalk. This wasn’t impossible but still a challenge. We ended up spending about an hour in the lobby after lunch waiting for a room but this wasn’t so bad because the lobby had cleared out more from the people heading out on a cruise. The one bad thing was that the bathrooms required a key card, so if you wanted to use the bathroom you had to get someone from the staff to let you in. It was raining when we were there but access to the pool also required a key card. Everything went smooth for getting a room and our luggage once they had ones available. The room was very nice and clean and the morning breakfast typical of a Holiday Inn Express. We would use this hotel again."

"The place was perfect for our quick getaway . The inside zero complaints, nice decor … A few recommendations : paper towels for the kitchen/ and in the outside patio a small table and chairs for breakfast/coffee. Also the patio could you a little upkeep /decor "

"We booked a dayroom and it was the best decision. We spent 5 hours there and 2 of those hours was in the pool. The pool and room were very clean. Staff were very friendly and plenty of package food in the lobby. Only down side is not too many restaurant option in walking distance. There’s a taco shop across the street but it’s closed on Sunday and Mondays. Other then that hotel was great and we’ll definitely be staying here again. "
