"We have friends in the area and actually own 50 acres nearby that we plan to build on beginning next year. We also had graduation to attend two hours east of there. Lollie’s Retreat checked all the boxes for us. The apartment was beautifully decorated and included all the amenities that we could want. Views are amazing! Highly recommend!!"

"Great location out in the rolling hills. We arrived late so only checked out the creek on the way out the next morning, wow! Space to pull the Jeep onto the gravel and chill! Home was clean and had plenty of room for our group of 5. We would stay here again at David’s place!"

"We loved the size, decor and set up. Perfect for a big group. We initially thought we had a private pool on property, but the pool is hidden in the neighborhood. We finally asked someone in the neighborhood where the pool/hottub was in the picture and found it. Price wise "

"We loved our stay and visit to Mammoth Cave. The animals were awesome, and our youngest son loved visiting with the horses each day. The train at night took awhile to get used to, but overall, we had a great time. "

"A lovely and very comfortable country home with modern conveniences. Perfect for a romantic or family getaway. Wide open outdoor space makes for spectacular sunsets and sunrises. A quiet place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the countryside with plenty of birds and deer to watch and room to play. Lila, the host of the family farm/property is awesome. We loved our one month stay"

"Peaceful location about 1/2 mile from the main road with very little road noise. Really , the only noise was from the cattle in the field across the road. Property is as listed and convenient to Monticello and Beaver Creek Marina. Lots of boat trailer parking."

"Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. "

"We enjoyed a few days away at this property. Be aware, this unit is on the second floor. There is a stair lift which was a blessing. If you need it, make arrangements in advance. It has an updated kitchen area and even a dishwasher. Also, the outside grill is charcoal, which was provided. The bed was large and comfy."

"I enjoyed the country feeling of the house, looking up to see the clear view of stars at night, and beautiful hill landscape view from the living room. Very peaceful! "
