"I thought I was setting aside some quiet time just to study and write. However, it turned into an even BIGGER BLESSING than that. A missionary friend was also able to stop in and join me, but just two days..bc they were returning to the mission field. (Both of us had an extraordinarily special time bc the land is beautiful....the animals are so fun to watch...the location is perfect...and the owners are very precious hosts who gladly welcomed us in & took such great care of us...while also...

"The home was a wonderful surprise! Surpassed our expectations. The home was welcoming , beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the cows in the pasture was an added bonus. The host was very friendly and answered questions on activities venues and restaurants in the local community to help us on our weekend getaway! Wil definitely come back!"

"My husband, myself and our two girls (3&4) stayed here for a little family getaway. It was exactly what we were looking for! A slice of country. We loved having the horses hang out with us all day, feeding them and relaxing by the fire. Crystal the owner was so gracious, and even sent us flowers for our 8 year anniversary! Highly recommend! "

"17 of us with teens-toddlers and everyone had a great time. The basement is huge and the older kids loved it. Outside we played basketball, pickleball, volleyball, baseball, we fished, and we swam. We hope to go back."

"The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended."

"Peaceful location about 1/2 mile from the main road with very little road noise. Really , the only noise was from the cattle in the field across the road. Property is as listed and convenient to Monticello and Beaver Creek Marina. Lots of boat trailer parking."

"Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. "

"We gathered for a college homecoming reunion and left more like family. The furnishings, amenities and layout of the lodge was perfect …The open plan encourages lots of chatter and laughter. Beautiful sun room! The decor just says “home.” Beds and baths and had special little welcoming touches. I would love to book for a week with my own family and enjoy the lake and outdoor areas! Just perfect! 😊"
