And yet it was hidden away so that it was peaceful at night. (With the exception of one night that the person in the apartment above paced the floor all night.) I would definitely stay there again."

The space is well appointed with paintings and sculpture as if it is an extension of the Beaux Arts Museum across the street. You can walk anywhere in Bordeaux from here, or take a nearby tram if you wish. "

"The good parts, Very historic apartment, great location, restaurants, close to the tram. Don't plan on getting a rental car or large taxi close. We carried luggage several blocks and then down the 500 year old stairs. Good part is that they provided parking ramp access 500 meters away. Our checkin was difficult. Miscommunication and not not very patient, leave it at that. It was well equiped and very clean."

Location could not be better - in the pedestrian area near the opera house, and many restaurants. It was a 5-minute walk to get groceries. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
