"A delightful property in a stunning location in the middle of the Dordogne countryside. The house has plenty of grounds in which to roam or play and the family particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. All facilities are provided in the house and if we wanted any additional equipment, such as a barbeque, we only had to ask. Eileen and Richard were the perfect hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be returning."

"This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay."

"We chose this unit for its convenience to the Saint-Emilion and East Bordeaux Wine areas. We were not disappointed. While it really is amongst the vineyards, it made for interesting trips to the neighboring small villages."

"The owners are friendly and very nice. They were on site the whole time we were there, so we shared the pool with them and the people renting their smaller apartment (although we were never actually in the pool at the same time). We didnt realise this from the advert. The house is nice, but a little old fashioned - the kitchen and bathroom could really do with a refresh as they feel very dated. "Lovely rural Gite, perfect for time away from the crowds. Kind and helpful owners, great facilities with a lovely garden to enjoy time outdoors. Great swimming pool too. Train station15 minutes away - perfect for our day trip to Bordeaux. Lovely area, St Emilion is a must see and nearby village in Ruch has a good value restaurant with a very welcoming owner (about 25/30 minutes walk and a must for a leisurely lunch and a stroll). "An AMAZING beautiful hotel conveniently located in prime area. The entire staff was POSITIVELY the best!!! I can not say enough good things about the entire staff. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby we were catered to as if we were Royalty. They were so accommodating and helpful. I have stayed all over the World and spend at least 100 nights a year at hotels and the Hotel Pavie staff is at the very top and of my list!! The Restaurant is fabulous and if you can get a reservation it is a must do. I can not wait to return."

"Loved this hotel, it is right in the heart of St Emillion and it gives you. the opportunity to really explore the town on foot. There is parking at the hotel (if you book in advance which I would as parking in St Emillion can be challenging) which was a real bonus. Room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again if visiting St Emission."
