"This was a unique opportunity to experience local life. The cottage is located on the premises of a working farm and you are free to walk and explore. The owner was most gracious and helpful in making our stay memorable. I can’t say enough. The kids enjoyed pools, game room, dogs, zip line and freedom to run around. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very effective in answering questions promptly. A little difficult to unload our luggage as traffic on the street in high and and the divers drive very fast. Limited space on sidewalk to unload our luggage. No parking close to the rental. Parked on the street a block away - at least it was free :) In all, very clean and spacious. Supermarket and restaurants readily available walking distance. Thank you very much."

"This was a magical stay. One of the closest homes to the castle. This unit had the most comfortable beds. Outdoor space is plenty with amazing views. Parking is attached and included, made unloading so easy. We felt like the only visitors, but had a few dining options. Definitely try the tapas place right next door and the Ginjinha bar was great for desert and drinks. My family can’t say enough good things about this stay."

"What a wonderful surprise. A charming complete confortable house with every amenity imagineable. The house is located in a rural setting, in a quiet neighborhood, with scenic views and is less then 15 minutes away from Tomar. Tomar has plenty of history to explore and lot's of great restaurants. "I paid for six nights. When my plans changed I contacted the owner about 2 weeks in advance. He would not offer a refund. I finally reached Fatima in time for the last night I had reserved. I checked in but immediately had a strong allergic reaction to something in the house. I left after about 15 minutes and relocated to a hotel."

"Nice apartment with everything needed for a short stay. Large comfortable bed, kitchen area, dining table and a well equipped shower room. Everything was perfectly clean and good condition. Also a perfect location, one minute walk from the town square with lots of cafes and bars, near the cathedral and about a ten minute walk from the castle. Leiria is also a lovely town to visit."
