"Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans cette très belle maison située litéralement au pied d'un chateau et tout près de la rivière Dordogne. L'emplacement est à la fois calme mais aussi à dix minutes en voiture des services offert dans les petits villages aux alentours. De plus, nous avons bien apprécié l'air clumatisé dans la canicule. En bref, nous la recommandons fortement!"

"Lovely historic property. We stayed for 5 nights. It is a great location for walking into the old city (5 minute walk) and a great base for visiting the Dordogne area. The kitchen was bright and well appointed and the living room comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are modern. It is cool to see door locks that are probably 100 years old. "An unusual property lovely and cool in hot temperatures due to it being part cave. Sunny terrace with BBQ facility. "We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."

"Overall one of the best properties we have rented in France. Beautiful gardens, completely private and not overlooked, at the end of a private road with views over the fields which are stunning. "We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets.
