"Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans cette très belle maison située litéralement au pied d'un chateau et tout près de la rivière Dordogne. L'emplacement est à la fois calme mais aussi à dix minutes en voiture des services offert dans les petits villages aux alentours. De plus, nous avons bien apprécié l'air clumatisé dans la canicule. En bref, nous la recommandons fortement!"

"An unusual property lovely and cool in hot temperatures due to it being part cave. Sunny terrace with BBQ facility. Kitchen well equipped, fridge, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee bean blender and filter machine. Otherwise everything clean and comfortable. A good relaxing retreat Nd close to many interesting places see and things to do."

"We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."

"Overall one of the best properties we have rented in France. Beautiful gardens, completely private and not overlooked, at the end of a private road with views over the fields which are stunning. The pool is amazing, heated and had a deep part on the centre but not around the edge, (so you could stand at the edge easily). "We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. Patrice took much of his time for us during our stay. During one of the days, he super kindly showed us the proximity, their horses, and the plants around. The kids got attached to our hosts and...

"Sandra was a brilliant host, very communicative and helpful both before and during the stay, including buying a brand new travel cot as we were staying with a baby. The property was immaculate throughout with everything you might need. Well located for Cenac, beautiful views over the Dordogne valley, excellent indoor and outdoor living spaces, and a lovely pool and hot tub. We would stay again."
