"We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean, comfortable to hang out in, and well-stocked with all the essentials one might need for a few days getaway. Beds were comfortable, although new pillows were definitely needed on the two beds we used, so if possible, bring your own. The location was about .6 miles from the heart of everything, so once we parked, we never had to even move our car, which was excellent. The neighborhood itself was nice and quiet. "We evacuated from Helene. Because we were unable to return to our home, we ended up having to rent multiple vacation rentals. This is the first home that actually looked like it did online--really lovely. (I agree, yard can use some TLC) I liked the retro touches throughout. Comfortable furniture and beds. "Excellent property with easy entry procedures. Property manager was easy to communicate with regarding check-in. Easy to connect to internet/TV.. The only thing we questioned was what to do on departure. We stripped sheets off the beds, left the towels hang to dry, and put trash in outside bin. Hopefully nothing else was needed as we found no "check out" instructions. Would certainly recommend to others. Easy walk to downtown Mt Dora! "

"We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. She wanted to go to downtown Mt. Dora and see the Christmas lights. It was perfect. Many restaurants to chose from. The home is exactly as described. Great location to downtown Mt. Dora. We live just 45 minutes away so it made it a nice weekend getaway."
