"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"This was a charming, beautiful, comfortable place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful in offering services and guidance with local sites of interest. The room and views were particularly lovely with water, courtyard, garden, mill, bridge, live geese, roosters, and ducks to add to the charming rustic site. View the pics! It is all very lovely!"

"We stayed here during a family trip down to the Dordogne. It's an excellent half way point. Léa and Pierre were lovely hosts and the property was full of character. The breakfasts were fab, including a very early one that we needed due to our ferry timings. Thanks both for a nice, peaceful stay. "

"Hosts/owners went above and beyond to make sure we had all the things we needed. Specifically arriving late on a Sunday evening and needing supper as they supplemented what food we did have. The location of this place is so good, particularly if you are visiting the various wineries. I loved this place so much that I am trying to figure when to go back and bring all my friends! "Patricia and Pierre are lovely, warm people who made us very welcome. The gite is spacious and set in very pleasant grounds. The swimming pool looked super but sadly, due to the cold weather, we were unable to use it. The log fire was wonderful for the cold nights. The area around is fully of interesting château to visit.fur the cold evenings. "
