"We stayed here during a family trip down to the Dordogne. It's an excellent half way point. Léa and Pierre were lovely hosts and the property was full of character. The breakfasts were fab, including a very early one that we needed due to our ferry timings. Thanks both for a nice, peaceful stay. "

First of all it was difficult to find(google maps takes you to an apartment block!) and if looking fir a golf course as in a previous review states, the nearest one is 3miled away! It is on a housing estate and an hours walk from Tours centre. The villa itself is beautiful. However the owner has little English and it is difficult to find him when you need him! "We had a difficult time with checking in. At first we could not find anyone or even the front desk. The instructions say to go to the front desk but it was closed even though we were within the open hours. We didn’t get great instructions when checking in and had trouble with the locks. The property is stunning but a long way from any amenities. Not walkable to any restaurants.
