"We were looking for a nearby relaxing venue for Christmas. This house fit the bill! It is cozy, yet spacious and filled with family memorabilia. It was very comfortable. The view of the lake was great! Kitchen is well appointed. We were able to pull off a rather ambitious Christmas dinner with just a few added supplies. "Our family stayed for three nights in this charming little place. It was perfect. We enjoyed campfires outside nearly every night. While it is close to Huntsville and a few small towns, it feels like a true nature retreat. We would highly recommend!"

"Enjoyed the hot tub and the home being well equipped with all you would need even had laundry detergent. The only thing that I would change would be a way to secure the privacy blinds around hot tub area . They wouldn't stay down . "

"This is a great way to mix a little getaway without being completely away from civilization. The cabin has so much space for the price, and the wifi is great (which is excellent bc zero service in that spot ha). There are enough woods to walk around, but not so much you get lost. I liked that we could get to Cullman pretty quickly and also escape back to our spot in an instant. The “waterfall” was a nice touch to listen to in the peace of the night. "

"Terrible- smelled moldy, multiple fans to try to reduce odor, toilet did not flush properly, curtains were old and tattered. Needs a complete renovation and a better cleaning service."
