Nestled in the heart of Omega Park, This stunning 5-bedroom vacation home offers a serene and rejuvenating escape. Surrounded by the breathtaking Daniel Boone National Forest and just a short walk from the picturesque Cumberland River, You'll be immersed in the natural beauty of the region.
Our home offers easy friendly access and mobility to those who may have difficulties navigating stairs and bathrooms (we are not ADA compliant).

As a guest, you'll enjoy an array of traveler favorites, including high speed internet a washing machine and dryer, a cozy stone fireplace with smart TVs in all the bedrooms and common living areas. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator grill, and more, allows you to indulge in home-cooked meals, while the dining table provides the perfect setting for shared meals and conversations.

Enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings as you prepare your meals on the gas grill. Our decks provide plenty of seating for outside dining.
After your meal gather around the fire pit with friends and family for a memorable evening under the stars.

Clean, Updated Stay
Overall, we had a great stay at this house. The location is walkable to the boat ramp and has an easy parking spot for 1 boat (the turnaround is a bit tight, but do able) and a spacious 5 bedrooms. The owner was very hospitable. He came to check on us 3x in our 4 night stay. While I believe this was with good intentions, it did make us feel like we were being watched as he would just swing by since he was in the area.

Lake Cumberland Retreat
Beautiful house with great kitchen near upper end of Lake Cumberland, Burnside & Somerset. If Wolf Creek Dam is the "alpha" then this property is the Omega Retreat.

Just about perfect
Every year for the past 15 years, some buddies I graduated high school with get together for a long weekend getaway at a different lakehouse around the state. This house has been the best we've ever stayed at. Super clean and wonderful amenities (everything from the kayaks and bikes to the fully stocked kitchen). Host communicated well and took a lot of pride in making sure out stay had no troubles. Would happily stay again.

Peaceful quiet setting, home is very well appointed and has everything needed to enjoy a few days with friends. Lots of seating on the decks and around the fire pit. We loved our time there and would highly recommend!

The most well-stocked VRBO we've ever stayed at! Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen and bath towels. Very courteous and responsive host. No problems with cell phone service for any of us.

We were a group of 7. 3 couples plus 1. 5 big bedrooms and 3 full baths made it great for us to spread out. The owner went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate all of our needs AND wants! This house provides bikes, float tubes, kayaks, fire pit, cornhole, yard Yahtzee, and many other games to entertain us! Everything was 5 stars! I only rated the location 4 stars because it does take 20-25 minutes to get to a grocery store. Loved the swimming area by the boat ramp! The house was very clean and well kept. I would love to return to this property.

It is for sure off the beaten path but worth the drive. Quiet, and secluded location. Well stocked and VERY clean rental home. Will definitely consider for future getaways.

Beautifully appointed home near the Cumberland River. We really enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for our family. Everything you could need was provided and the hosts were very attentive. If we decide to return we will definitely rebook this home.

Our family of twelve ...... from Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin ..... enjoyed our week at the Omega Retreat. The house was suited for our 4 families. Lots of room for everyone, kayaks were a plus, and the house was super clean with lots of extras included ! David was a great host and so helpful.

House is set on a very quiet and peaceful location. Boat ramp in walking distance only used by locals. Location is 10 miles or 30 minutes from the busy town of Somerset. Host was helpful and caring.

Very nicely updated, well stocked, roomy rental with much to do. Loved having the 6 kayaks to go down and take in the beauty and peacefulness of the Cumberland River in the early morning. We enjoyed our stay very much. Well Done.
