"Loved our stay at the Lighthouse. We arrived rather late after a full day at Longleat, but it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Check in was friendly and the room was lovely and impeccably clean. Breakfast was tasty and my gluten/dairy free husband was well catered for and my son couldn’t wait to try out the play area! Just a lovely stay all round. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we visit the area."

"We had a lovely stay at this charming property. Our hosts were excellent. Easy parking. Warm, comfortable and clean bed with generous ensuite. Breakfast was really good! Will definitely include this on our list of places to stay again. Highly recommended."

"We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend Joss welcomed us like family. The room and serivce was amazing We was made to feel so welcome. Joss had a card sent to our room for jons birthday Which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning and so quiet. The bed omg the bed was so comfortable If we didnt have to be up early for longleat we would of slept in all day lol. Jon and i stayed in room 2 the beech tree room It was cosy and so quite. "This place is amazing especially for the witchy minded. It is like a museum in itself and I spent an entire evening browsing and then picked a good book (over 1000 to choose from) to read. The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast delicious. I loved my room overlooking the Abbey and the bathtub very enjoyable. If I ever return I will definitely stay here again and I’m going home with great memories. Thanks"

"Lovely accommodation including spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom. Shared kitchen which is useful. More than ample parking which is free. In great proximity for Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar, Longleat etc, 5 min drive to nearest pub restaurant. Friendly owners. Recommended."

"The room was slightly dated, but very clean. On arrival the room was cold, but there was an option to contact the owners to have the heating boosted if required. We were visiting friends nearby so didn't need to do so, and the room was lovely and warm on our return once the scheduled heating had started. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of accommodation "

"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."
