"Had a great stay. Breakfast was great and the one meal we had was delicious. I'm a coeliac and they were very helpful. Had a delicious icecream sundae for pudding. The staff were amazing .Kieran and all the girls were lovely. We've stayed a few years and have noticed room's have gone a bit tired and bathroom needs regrouting . But a lovely stay as always. Can't say enough how great the staff are. "

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up.
