"Casa Pacifico was perfect for the amount of time we stayed in Pompeii. Our room was modern, clean, spacious, with a great bathroom/shower. The Towel warmer was a huge plus (we used it to dry socks and shirts we handwashed. Wouldn't leave unattended.). Owner gave great directions and was communicative. Breakfast voucher allowed us to have delicious fresh pastries and coffee every morning at the cafe downstairs. You do need to haul your luggage up a few flights of stairs, so plan accordingly....

"We rented a car to drive from Sorrento to Salerno via the Amalfi Coast. By the time we arrived we were a bit tired. We were using the map app to guide us to the location and made 3 attempts before we found it. It is located on a 3 block pedestrian-only strip filled with shops, restaurants, and access to the train station. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only unfortunate things were we were both suffering from a head cold and I lost the location of where I parked the car. ...

"Room was clean and comfortable. It was nice having the coffee, tea and snacks in the room. A bit of confusion with check in but it was cleared up quickly. Ten minute walk to the train station. We would stay again."

"This hidden gem is literaly 2 blocks away from everything you will ever need. The neighborhood is beating and very safe, day and night. The central station is 2 blocks away through a pedestrian street. The pier is 2 block away, and it will take you anywhere you want. The supermarket is literally one block away. The place is quiet, clean, well decorated, comfortable, private and safe. We stayed for one week and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here...

"Luna Nova is beautiful, modern, and spacious. Each room has its own climate control and it worked very well. The owners are extremely kind and hospitable and always available to help. The rooms are the cleanest rooms you will ever find and the beds are very comfortable. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. "

"Stayed at residence Zelzar for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! The staff were great at answering our questions quickly, and helped us with a couple of issues we had (on our end, not at their fault). The views were fantastic, and we enjoyed going to bar royal for breakfast. "

"The property is excellent value for money and great if you want an authentic experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. We did eat the evening meal which I found really tasty. My son is a picky eater - but he ate the pasta and the meat course. They did check with us if there was anything we didn’t eat the morning of our meal which I thought was really kind of them. Put last day we snacked throughout the day so wasn’t too hungry so we bought a sandwich and some noodles locally....

"Residenza Pansa was in a convenient location, but was hard to find; google maps has a hard time with steps and alley-ways that are prevalent in Amalfi. It would be helpful if walking directions were provided for guests to assist in finding the hotel from the ferry/bus area. The room and staff were great and the small out-door terrace was nice too. The down-side of this property is that it is located right above the main road in town, so it is quite noisy."

"The property is very modern and funtional bathroom, electrical instalation. Pedestrian access is unconfortable for senior persons, thru steep street. Breakfast offered (included) is not at all, in the room are boxes of Kelloks cereals, no milk, no hot oatmeal neither eggs. We went out for breakfast. We strongly suggest to include in the presentation documentation include the bagage option to safe guard boxes in the back. How to get a taxi was an imposible task, it is a mandatory information...

"Everything about our stay here was incredible. The room was so spacious and the cleanest that I’ve seen yet in Italy. Gigi, the host, is AMAZING! He hand makes and serves the most incredible breakfast each morning that is so fresh and delicious. He genuinely wants to hear about your adventures and offers personalized recommendations as to things you should check out in the area. Without a doubt, this was the best place we have stayed in our 2 weeks touring Italy. We will definitely be back and...

"The common areas and room are clean and beautiful. Luciana was a tremendous hostess. The ongoing work on the exterior of the building means there is scaffolding outside your window which blocks much of the view. Also, the inside of the building, before you get to the DG part, is kind of dark/weird, including the really old lift. But was totally safe, and the doorman was great. "

"Vincenzo was amazing and so friendly with a sense of humor! We enjoyed our stay immensely and have no complaints whatsoever. It was comfortable, clean, quiet, fun, close to all, walkable, well stocked with amenities, easy to find, beautiful, private. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others! "I would definitely stay at Hotel Montestella again. It is centrally located in Salerno in that if you walk in one direction, you reach the "Old town" with the restaurants and shops, Cathedral and beach part in 10-15 minutes and if you walk in the other direction, you reach the train station in 8 minutes. If you go "down" you reach the "strip walkway" in 2 minutes. The staff were helpful and allowed us to check in early at 1230 and let us check out late at 1130. There is also a nice lobby with couches that we hung out at because our train didn't leave till 1600 and the staff told us it was no problem to hang out as long as we needed to. The breakfast was really good--coffee machines made cappuchinos and lattes, and there were scrambled eggs, sausages, an assortment of pastries, bread, fruit, and cereal. I also appreciated that the yogurt was refridgerated--we stayed at several hotels in Europe and yogurt was sometimes left out at room temperatures. The only thing to note about this hotel and it's not their fault--there is construction on the road in front of it. The earliest we heard anything was 0830 and the latest was 1730, so it did not bother us at all, but thought I would mention in case people are sensitive to noise during those times. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Hotel Montestella to anyone staying in Salerno."
