"Lovely, undisturbed stay in a pleasant room. Clean and comfortable enough to spend evenings in and with a great view overlooking the port. Easy access to local buses and the tram, as well as local hikes. Signs of wear but all functioning well with a good, strong shower. Air con worked slowly. No pool is not an issue when the beach is across the road. The area is cute but heavily targeted to tourists and lacks character. Plenty of shops and restaurants with easy-listening live music performances,...

"L’Avenida was altogether lovely, bursting with character and style. The location was perfect, near the main square but tucked away and so quiet and peaceful. The room was on two levels and huge, a sitting room and wet room downstairs and a bedroom above. It was quiet and peaceful, the bed was comfortable and there was the perfect environment for a good night’s sleep.
