"This property is a very lovely house with beautiful spacious gardens and a wonderful pool. Everything we could wish for was provided and all in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants and bars and easy travelling by public transport to to coast. All communication with the host was easy and with prompt responses. We loved it and thank Christophe for providing us with many family memories."

"We found La Bastide to outshine any expectations. In summary: authentic historic property (as rustic as you could get!); spacious living quarters and massive, accommodating outside spaces; a sense of entire privacy within the grounds; stunning views (in particular while lazing about the wonderful pool); remote enough, nestled in the hills above the charming village - a 20 min walk to amenities. The owner/staff were particularly helpful & reassuring (by text or in person, however needed)...

"Cute little house with everything in it. Linen is not included & no towels. Double bedroom on ground floor with a wardrobe you can't close the doors as it isn't attached to the wall. Double bed on open mezzanine access via a ladder & crawl to the bed which was ok for our teenager. Settee in the main room is 2 single mattresses so ok for a bed During our stay the garden area was looking overgrown & remenants of building work / old equipment lying around. "Two families on holiday together and this country home was magical for us. Cooking in the well stocked kitchens, swimming in the warm pool, relaxing on the outside couches, drinking wine… heaven on Earth. The home was so lovely that we rarely left- content to relax in the beauty of the old architecture and gardens. Scott and Denise offered great communication from the start; we thank you for a lovely stay."
