"From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to my every need. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful, and the housekeeping team kept my room spotless. One notable plus was the hotel's recent upgrade to new windows, which made a huge difference in reducing street noise. Despite being located near a busy train station, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was. While the hotel's decor and amenities may be a bit dated, we found it added to the property's character and charm. It was like stepping back in time, and we appreciated the unique experience. If you value history, excellent service, and a one-of-a-kind experience, I highly recommend staying at Avenida Palace. "

"My husband and I booked a last min trip to Lisbon and this hotel was great. The staff was lovely and very knowledgeable about best ways to get places and had recommended some places to eat. Hotel was quiet, with easy walking access to places and transit was right outside which made easy for getting around. No TV in room which is fine but if you have kids you are trying to distract while getting ready have an iPad. Wifi would drop and you had to forget that connection and rejoin net work. Our room had a queen bed and then bunk beds could easily accommodate 4 ppl. The lobby restrooms smelled like sewage."

"The room service are bad during the night and our toilet door is broken. But the food the location of the hotel is very good. The breakfast crew are very helpful and friendly. The hotel location is near the metro, which you could travel to city center or to some tourist destination. There's McDonald's, grocery store and Chinese restaurant nearby. My best advice... buy 1 day or 3 day ticket in the metro if u travelling."
