"Don't let the lack of photos of the front of the property put you off. True it's in a very narrow side street and the outlook is far from pretty, but it's in a very convenient location. Inside there's everything you need, and the property is well cared for. It's literally a couple of minutes' walk to the sea. Shops, pubs, restaurants all handy. We arrived during very bleak weather, strong winds and driving rain. Once that cleared, Filey didn't disappoint. Surely one of the best traditional sea...

"This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. "

Great location close to the beach & food places we also found a little wooden park 5minutes round the corner that was brilliant for the kids to have a run round. "Cowslip cottage is the perfect size for two people and the views to the sea are lovely with goats and donkeys for entertainment. The cottage is cosy and comfortable with all the kitchen bits needed and a handy bottle of milk on arrival. Even more helpful is the EV charging port. Really good location for exploring Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and other local places. Very nice holiday overall!"
