Whispering River Cabin is located on the beautiful Upper Mountain Fork River with views of the Ouachita Mountains. The cabin is 38 miles North of Hochatown and Beavers Bend State Park in a secluded and tranquil setting. This river front cabin is a 2 level cabin with 2 private bedrooms, 1 loft master bedroom and has 2 full bathrooms. The cabin accommodates 6 guests with 3 queen sized beds. The 1000 sq. ft. wrap around deck is half covered and overlooks the Mountain Fork River and has access to dirt roads/trails for ATV riding.

Very off the beaten path and awesome to just get away from everything. House was beautiful and relaxing. Make sure and get groceries and whatever you need before you go but once you’re there it’s awesome

Exactly what the DR. Ordered!
If you want to be off the beaten path and away from the insanity that is now Hochatown....Than this is the place for you!!! Be aware that this is about 30-45 min from Hochatown and, it's definitely out in the sticks. This place is amazing! Clean, Beautiful, Relaxing! The back deck is amazing...The pictures don't do it justice at all. We mainly came here for the fishing (which is within walking distance). Fantastic fishing! We caught so many fish we got tired of it! Everything at the cabin was perfect. No worries at all and! The communication between us and James was absolutely perfect! Also, the communication with the local Manager was fantastic as well! They both were extremely helpful and made our stay that much more comfortable. Thanks for a great trip and great memories!!!!!

Clean, well-stocked, quiet and private cabin. Loved listening to the river and eating out on the deck. It is quite a drive into town, so make sure to bring everything you need. Would stay here again.

Thought it was closer to broken Bow, but was closer to Arkansas, and we didn't like the gravel road.And you need to stop paying for dish and just get a smart TV and outdoor antenna, couldn't watch TV at all, and jet tub doesn't work, and no table to play games on

Beautiful and Peaceful loved it being secluded the only thing I would change would to have pull Down blinds on the two lower windows too much sun in living room area and it gets warm in the afternoon it makes it difficult to sit in there in the afternoons, other than that it was WONDERFUL 😊

On the listing on vrbo it didn’t not show that it was an hour from town. We booked this based on the location shown on the listing and apparently that’s their “base”. We did not get to spend as much time with our family for thanksgiving because we were so far away.

A perfect place to getaway from it all!!! Take charcoal for grill !!! Beds a comfortable!!! Take everything you will need town is about 30 minutes away! Will definitely go back!!!
