"My boyfriend and I had an overnight stay at Little Dane Court a couple of weeks ago after a dining experience on The Kent and East Sussex Railway. This hotel is a converted grade 2 listed building with several rooms. We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. "Very cosy and warm, steep steps up to room and parking a few minutes walk away. A wonderful view to wake up to overlooking the river Medway. No breakfast inc and it’s not clear reading the other reviews, I think it’s overpriced without breakfast. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. If you are a light sleeper noisy traffic in the background also. The host was friendly. "

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"We had a wonderful stay in the Pavillion at Brunger House. The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break."

"Nice hotel, 2 minutes from the centre, yet nice and quiet. Room was quirky and nicely decorated. The bed was so comfortable and thd linen lush. One tips, you are parking in the arranged car park validate your car at check-in or you will not get the discounted rate. Overall a good experience and we will stay here again. "

"Lovely place. I didn’t realise when I booked that the room is not en-suite. Which was fine except only two toilets for 12-14 pods. The pods are nice and very well kept, but very small for mote than 2 people. Family with little kids ok, but we were groups of adults and teenagers so not idea. Over all place is very nice, but probably not worth the cost. "
