"We were taking our college kid back to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy and this house was convenient - an easy 20 minute drive to Troy. The house is big with a good kitchen and an outdoor patio and large tree-shaded yard. We also took day trips to Albany and Saratoga which were easy trips from here. There’s a grocery store, wine and bottle shop and pizza and ice cream shops nearby. It’s secluded and quiet. "

"The house was exactly as described and nicely appointed by the hosts. A very comfortable stay. The only drawback is that we found the neighborhood to be a little dodgy. The street it's on is right off a very busy, industrial street that seemed to have a pretty sizeable homeless population."

"The room is as described and shown in the photo and as mentioned in earlier comments the fence has a gap so it’s still a leash required yard, but they have designed a privacy passage between the room and the bathroom so concerns about that have been eliminated. We had trouble with the key box but help arrived quickly when we got there, and they provided everything needed for a lovely stay with my two pups. "

"Property was in good shape, though I recommend the owner consider refinishing the tub, the current paint job is not so good. The location is too far from downtown Troy to easily walk but is an easy drive. The building has multiple units and finding the right one was a bit tricky, but the place was clean and well-kept overall and parking was easy, I would stay again."

"This sizable 4 bedroom space gave us everything we needed for a great price! Minor cleanliness issues aside, we had no problem getting into the house, which was well-located right off the main road in Colonie. Despite being so close to a busy street, it was quiet and peaceful at night. Ideal for a stay in the Albany area and was just what we needed, would definitely recommend!"

"The house was lovely; every bedroom was nicely furnished with plenty of linens. The kitchen was amazing and was a great place for everyone to gather around and cook; the way the table opened up to the outdoor space was wonderful, but since it was snowing, we didn't get to really use it. The bathrooms were stunning with really nice showers, and there were plenty of nice touches. Galina was kind host who was easy to reach. "Our family stayed for a week. It was very conformable and well equipped. The location is great - it is very close to the airport and a 10 min drive from major attractions. We enjoyed strolling in the quiet neighborhood and our dog loved the huge fenced back yard. We were there during a rare heat wave and found the window units not that effective to cool the house. Once the heat wave passed it was very pleasant. We plan to stay there again in our next visits to Albany."
