Welcome to Lakewood Cabin in the RRG! This luxury cabin is privately situated on a wooded lot with a beautiful stream. Enjoy complete privacy and the sounds of nature from the spacious deck. Sip your morning coffee in the hot tub and relax after a day of adventure by the outside stone fireplace! The interior boasts a wonderful attention to detail, and is large enough for your entire group to enjoy. Entertain in the game room w/ pool table, bar, and large tv. Easy check in = smart choice!

The Space:
The Lakewood Cabin in the Red River Gorge is a cozy and rustic retreat nestled within the natural beauty of the gorge. With its charming wood and stone construction, the cabin offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Surrounded by lush forests and stunning rock formations, it provides a serene environment for relaxation and outdoor exploration. Inside, you can expect comfortable amenities and a warm ambiance, making it an ideal getaway for nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility in this picturesque Kentucky destination. NEW pool table as of November 2023!!

Guest Access:
Nothing invites you to relax and unwind quite like a long soak in a hot tub on vacation. Luxuriate under the treetops in the private hot tub with amazing views from the deck.
Be sure to pick up a bundle of firewood on your way to the cabin to enjoy the cozy fire pit.

The Neighborhood:
Located just 10 minutes from the Slade exit 33 off the Mountain Parkway, Is the Birch Hollow development with several other cabins. A gravel road takes you deep into the woods for this peaceful retreat. Birch Hollow is technically located in Stanton. But it is much closer to Slade.

Getting Around:
Just 10 minuets from Slade, Where you can find all of the local attractions.
Daniel Boone coffee shop, Miguels Pizza, and the Natural Bridge State Park!
15 minutes to the Nada tunnel, the gateway to some of the best hiking and climbing in the north gorge.

Other Things to Note:
Pets are not allowed at this cabin.
Please know that Lakewood is located in the Birch Hollow development, which is in Stanton/Slade area.

Please note that the WiFi is good enough to make calls and look online but likely not strong enough to have video work meetings and the like.

Nice Cabin, perfect for larger groups, convenient location
Size and location of cabin was great. The downstairs was perfect for kids. Loved the decks, couches, bathroom sizes, and all the seating. Checkin and checkout was easy. Upstairs beds were not as comfortable as hoped and the hot tub could use some updates or cleaning. Cleaning of the house could be slightly better. The bathroom upstairs had some mildew and the comforters didn’t seem to be washed. The carpet in the downstairs bedroom was dirty. Overall, we had a great stay!

Amazing place, would return!
Great access to RRG, close to Nada Tunnel. Loved the hot tub and the way the cabin was tucked in to a rocky wall, giving privacy and beauty. The sound of the little creek running was perfect! The twinkle lights outside were wonderful too! Kitchen was well equipped and we loved the reclining couches in the living room. Definitely would come back to this one.
