"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "Great place, wonderful swimming pools, spacious and clean rooms and beautiful landscaping. Only critical feedback is the lack of Greek dining options for lunch. More focused on burgers and hot dogs than gyros and good salads which is a shame. Buffet breakfast was good but average"

Ours was not a spacious studio but it had everything we needed and over our stay it was cleaned daily. The free buffet breakfast had plenty of variety and was served in the immaculate pool bar, a lovely start to the day. Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps.
