"We loved the Bellwether! The house is beautiful and the staff are amazing. We stayed in suite 14 off the patio and had the perfect amount of interaction and privacy. My husband kept raving about how much he enjoyed the stay. Every night there is complimentary brut and the bar stays open until 11. The location is perfect. "We had a nice stay at McMillan Inn. We stayed in the Oglethorpe Room and it was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had never stayed in a B&B before and were not sure about dining with strangers but we met some interesting people and the food and service (served by the owners) WA’s delicious and different every day. The house is charming and in good proximity to many interesting landmarks and historic areas to explore. Thank you for the hospitality!"

"It was an upstairs suite and walking up those steps with luggage was something! Room had everything necessary and was very clean. Wi-Fi was poor with the signal dropping every once in a while. Did have a smart TV but only a few over-the-air channels."

"I absolutely loved this place! My boyfriend and I took one room and my Mom took the one next to us. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. There's an intercom you can turn on to play ambient music; it was on when we walked in and it just made the arrival so relaxing. The young woman who checked us in was probably the sweetest person I have ever met in my life with the most relaxing voice. The inn smelled amazing, because they had just finished baking cookies. "Stayed here for a mother-daughter trip & loved it! Very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, & a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Beach towels and other basics are provided to you. Only a few minutes from the marine science center, lighthouse, etc. My only tiny complaint is that our room on the first floor was a little tight and would probably be better for a solo traveler, but I know they can’t do much regarding room sizes! Overall 5 stars :)"

Short 2 day getaway

"A very pleasant experience right close to the riverfront. Quick and easy check-in, quick and easy checkout. All staff were very friendly, courteous, helpful and polite. Really enjoyed the breakfasts and evening social hours with free wine, beer and hot snacks. Only downside, seemed like we were staying at a dog kennel, way too many dogs. Don't get me wrong, we like dogs, but there is a time and place, not in a nice hotel. Before you start with "service" dogs, these were not "service"dogs."
