"Stopped overnight enroute to LeShuttle, very convenient just off the M20, in a village. Room spacious and comfy, with good quality tea/coffee. Enjoyed a tasty meal downstairs in the restaurant. In the room you could hear the people in the restaurant talking, but it was silent after 10pm (and they do provide earplugs if needed). "Very nice pub/hotel, nice log fire, lovely room’s, and big big old fashioned bath tub in the room, large bed, only drawback no television in the room.very limited lunch items available, the same with the evening menu, very small presented and very expensive steak meal,breakfast was tasty but very strange to have no marmalade offered or a refil of tea/coffee and the full english was very small. Staff were very nice"

"A very comfortable 3 day stay in this Village Inn with very warm welcome and friendliness throughout - informal but professional. Cleanliness of both room and bathroom excellent with some extras provided in both. Food and menu also excellent. Ideal location to visit Canterbury (Park and Ride close by and very easy) and nearby coast. A lovely stay. "

"The room had excellent facilities, was attractively furnished in keeping with an historic building and village and spacious. Staff were kind and considerate and thoughtful, much appreciatrd as we are in 80s. Menu allowed for variety of choice, food well presented. Highly recommend New Flying Horse to.all and commend owners for such a high class. well run business at reasonable price "

"The Five Bells is a charming Inn in an idyllic setting. It lived up to all expectations and the exceptional facilities and staff made our two night stay very memorable. The breakfast included in the price was absolutely fantastic and so filling we didn’t need to eat anything for lunch! "Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back."
