" We were visiting family for a birthday and wanted a room nearby for the night. The hotel staff were very nice and the room (a four poster) was lovely, warm and cosy. The restaurant side does great food with very good service and breakfast was great. I know the Camden Arms well but have never stayed there before. I have stayed in other hotels nearby but the Camden is very much better. We were happy with the price as well and totally recommend here for anyone viting the area."

"I stayed in one the cottages and it was super; clean, cosy & warm and designed to a high standard. The private garden a great addition. The restaurant and food is good quality and I thought priced reasonably. Chilham is a pretty village and the White Horse Inn is also super for a drink with the locals. Canterbury is a short drive, or train journey so a great place if you want to visit the city but be in the country. I loved it. "

"The Five Bells is a charming Inn in an idyllic setting. It lived up to all expectations and the exceptional facilities and staff made our two night stay very memorable. "The room had excellent facilities, was attractively furnished in keeping with an historic building and village and spacious. Staff were kind and considerate and thoughtful, much appreciatrd as we are in 80s. Menu allowed for variety of choice, food well presented. Highly recommend New Flying Horse to.all and commend owners for such a high class. well run business at reasonable price "

"Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back."
