"2 weeks spent in a fabulous villa with great pool in a peaceful rural location- just what we needed. Shops, restaurants, beaches all near by to visit and explore. Nino looked after us and showed us around the Villa and introduced us to some traditional local cuisine. "We had a wonderful time, it’s hard to describe how beautiful the setting is. The view and the swimming cove are perfect. The apartment is well equipped and very clean, we slept well and Hanni was very kind. We had a problem with accessing our vrbo account, and generally with communication because we had lost a phone whilst hiking, the family were very understanding. Eine bessere Wegbeschreibung wäre schön, da man sich schon sicher sein möchte, wenn man die steile Auffahrt hoch fährt, dass man dort richtig ist. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber sauber, allerdings wären ein paar neue Stühle für innen und außen angebracht, da sie entweder fast auseinander brechen, oder verrostet sind. "Ein Landgut wird beworben, eine heruntergekommene und schmutzige Anlage findet man vor. Überall Müll am Gelände, die Küche/Kühlschrank verdreckt, nicht gekehrt und die Bäder eine Zumutung. Wir mussten erstmal putzen.. Klimatisiert sind nur 2 Doppelzimmer über ein klappriges Gerät in einem Vorraum - wie man hier in heißen Monaten mit bis zu 8 Personen schlafen soll möchten wir uns nicht vorstellen. Viele alte Möbel wo überall kaputte Dinge drin waren, das Untergeschoss nur eine Rumpelkammer......

Cinzia was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and helped us book a really good boat trip. Couple of good local pizzerias within 15-20 minutes walk, as well as a bar and an excellent bakery. We had a great week! "

"La premiere partie de notre sejour a commence a Balestrate. Nous avons passe 5 jours a la Casa Di Andrea. Ciro et Andrea, deux hommes d'une immense gentillesse et tres chaleureux. Ciro est venu nous attendre a notre point de rencontre, afin de nous guider a notre hebergement et nous expliquer le fonctionnement de tous les appareils, l'internet, etc. La maison est securitaire, avec un stationnement prive pour la voiture, ce qui est rassurant. "We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!"

"We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."
